EYEONE monster mashing with Cache, Jorger in East LA.

Photo greatness taken in Germany by DJ NN.

There's also something fun about this pair. Think it's the grey laces.

How charming.
From Toast. I still can't get over how special it feels to get a catalog from them in the mail.
The solution: a new pair of colored heels. Easier said than done. The two pairs I've been dreaming of since February and May have me pouting - one no where do be found and the second so accessible it was featured near to damn scale in the pages of Teen Vogue. Not to mention how much I am kicking myself for not grabbing those fantastic Acne heels. Aye.
Isabel Marant and Erotokritos.

While I'm on the topic...cheers to these yellow pairs. Rachel Comey and Dries Van Noten.

Though true to form, I cannot avoid the fear of looking like a buzzing bumble bee.
One or two of the applauded Tamar Mogendorff's would definitely send me into lala land.

Thank you anthropologie for tiny happiness.

I tried my damnedest to find something from the shows to cheer about to no end! Losing Alvin Valley, Ashley Paige, Morphine Generation, etc and without the LA-based brands showing that could save us from the Sunset-Robertson stereotypes like Crispin & Basilio, Wooden Mustache, Brian Lichtenberg, etc we are left defenseless. Do I dare make that outright negative statement on the state of the week? Sigh...
Like a mamma to her goofy, freckle-faced wee one Los Angeles is mine and I can only say so much.

Now fly off and save the world in your $550 melange layered pullover!
PYT Friday + stomping in the pouring rain was just what I needed. Shit, even Three of Clubs (aka I've Chosen Darkness) was plesant...woahs.

These two Eley Kishimoto tops I would want to wear everyday and could with so many different things...they are loose and fun and easy!

Possibly the most wanted jacket of the season, not as heart-stealing as Phillip Lim from fall (which is on it's way to me!) but brilliant transparent breaker (with v cool back) that would work reeeally well for springtimeness.

Cause tight long sleeved cardigans can get boring, from Undercover.

K all the pieces add up so well together on this shoe, pulled out one by one they are ordinary but the combined black heel, red satin and modern twist on a buckle on this Louis Vuitton pair - magic. I would most definitely spill alcohol on these but I think they could hang.

Work appropriate but unique, that A.F. Vandevorst white heel has me sold. My mind has already been wandering off to them............

I LOVE this Dries bag and even though it is not leather I see much reason to shell out - so well designed.

One to dream about. Damn you Hermes, ouch.

I must also thumbs up this Rue du Mail dress and these two from Chloe.

Really if I ever found the itty Chanel pouch I dreamed up quite some time ago I would ecstatically acquire. It looks a little something like the sum of these minus ankle action.

The soft grey tones down this YSL dress in just the right way, I like the warm twist.

Too cute, I especially like the back on this Stella McCartney suit.

That bag however is cake. yeah, I'd have no problem toting that thing around.
Mid week snooze...weekend shows better bring it.

I wear black on the outside...
Despite my efforts to look for color I am sitting her drooling over this black pair from Chie Mihara. The strong shape is exactly what I looking for...if only it came in the prettiest of carmels. The inside flipped with the outside!
There's also something fun about this pair. Think it's the grey laces.

"sets of six simple, hand-made glasses. all slightly and pleasingly irregular and in a nice, waney, greenish, clear glass."
How charming.

Of Course
Recently I came to the tragic realization while stomping back and forth from my closet that all my good heels are black or dark blue. How did this happen? While I'm loving the black Phillip Lim leather jacket it definitely makes accessories a bit more difficult. I've been tiptoeing around. The wrong addition and bam I'm a walking cow, butch biker babe, or MJ (MJ, not MK...MK would be OK).The solution: a new pair of colored heels. Easier said than done. The two pairs I've been dreaming of since February and May have me pouting - one no where do be found and the second so accessible it was featured near to damn scale in the pages of Teen Vogue. Road Trippin'
I'm craving mushrooms - not to eat (can't stand the things) but the kind that feel incredibly comforting with their handmade charm, making me exclaim 'Oh you're just too cute' upon glancing at them from across the room. One or two of the applauded Tamar Mogendorff's would definitely send me into lala land.

A Dim Entrance
Sitting here obsessing over the sweet smell of the Capri Blue Volcano candle - so excited they come in these cute etched jars as an alternative to the red and blue glass.

Escalator Over The Hill
Denise Simon's ink sketches caught my eye this weekend at The Carmichael Gallery, currently showing her Winter Evenings Series. She has some colored, detailed pieces in her portfolio but I think her simplistic inks say so much more. I love what is communicated in the last two of the girl swept up - makes me giggle contently.

Los Angeles Fashion Week...I tried my damnedest to find something from the shows to cheer about to no end! (So I'll Sit Here) Waiting
Done! Most wanted Spring 08 items from Milan and Paris:

Ending Start
Happy Endings to Paris Fashion week, Marc Jacobs brought it home with the Spring 08 Louis Vuitton collection...stunning. The collection as a whole really worked which was a nice change from most shows in Paris. Super pleased by the colorful bags especially since I am not a fan of the Takashi Murakami collab and damn am I wishing for a time machine to bring the pastel stocking-tights to me now. I also have no complaints about the Miu Miu shortness!Louis Vuitton

Tell Me In The Morning
What happened to really solid collections recently in Paris? Only a few pieces have been sticking out to me lately and that is a shame!
The soft grey tones down this YSL dress in just the right way, I like the warm twist.

Too cute, I especially like the back on this Stella McCartney suit.
