Tangerine

I'm so obsessed with Rhodia. My No.8 sits on my desk in its perfect shade of non-obnoxious bright orange and makes everything feel right.

^The Treasure Chest would be such a fantastic gift.
Or an overflowing bag of them in various sizes, for stacking in a great pile?

The color was (quite obviously) the inspiration for the link color on the new look here. I never highlighted the update but nows as good as any to mention that the header photo above was taken a few years back outside a Hollywood construction site. It's ordinary, but soothing...much like these pads.

Clouds

The green-yellow tints in these photos are brilliant. I love the look they are able to achieve.

From 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.

The colors in Darjeeling as a whole were incredibly aesthetically pleasing...I wish I could find more stills around.
Gah, I want a new camera.

Take me out, and I'll melt...

It's cold and I'm thinking of how happy some knit slippers and fantastic soup bowls could make me.

From Urban at a darn good $12.

Thick and substantial...amazing.

Toast ankle-warmth.

Dibbern, a collection I have been wanting for way too long.

Giant Little Animals To Feed

Ever since I heard about Longoland I've been waiting to see more on their website which was in construction for what seemed like forever. At last, lots of photos of the monsters. I can't get over their materials and detailing!

Hope For Us

I seem to have abandoned the concept of hoodies. The word sends chills down my spine. Memories of college frumpiness cloud my mind and Roxy fleece from my all-too-obsessed-with-the-beach high school days is stuffed in a dark, deep bag at the bottom of my closet.

This picture, however, tempts me so!

Stay Six Kid

I got my Persol's done, went to an event Friday through fish purse alley.

jrj and I drank horrible (yet free) vodka, which without fail, led my liver to ache in the am.

Nass had a great collar going on.

Shoegaze

Today I am dreaming about this pair from Henry Cuir.

These would also make my day.

They're now down to $430 and $320 respectively at Barney's which still leaves me dreaming from a far.

Parachutes

Heyyy Shakuhachi loves pandas too! Their SS 07/08 collection is a great follow up to the fun current season. Imagine splashing around in that colorful suit?

together

I'm 25! Drunken thoughts...do something crazy this year. Take a trip to London. Start a job I really believe in. Give depression the finger. Continue outlets like this that give me an indescribable amount of joy.

Faraway Friend

My frustration lately with not being able to acquire items from foreign designers makes me want to toss my computer out the window, do all my shopping at Wal-mart and never look back.

Denmark:
If I could pull these bottoms off the racks, self-checkout and toss them into a plastic bag I would be in heaven. Tipped off by Sprayglue.

I also found closeups of Stine Goya's footwear and am in love with it as well.

France:
I thought I transcended the gap, finally finding the Isabel Marant gold Alma heels stocked at Trend Miami. Only to realize the ankle strap is totally different - the runway pair were just a sample. The black strap is what made these!

Woe is me.

Glittering Blackness

Tights seem to fit my current awkwardness. So I bought a few new pairs in dreamy colors to lose myself in.

I love the black patterned pair. DKNY made them. I got them on sale...then I got an extra 10% off because my birthday is on Saturday. How nice of them.
Still can't find flat light grey...f.

So Little Deserve

Holy back.

A modest blouse from Sally Tseng's Spring 2008 collection.
Is winter weather finally here in LA?

I dug through racks of lifeless, short and stiff button-downs today...is it so hard to make them all like this? Perfecto.

There You Are

Recent purchase.

One of those grabs you at first sight items. I've recently resolved to (within reason) stick to those kind of purchases as to avoid regret and a closet full of mediocre items. Since it's long, it is incredibly versatile...with a white collared shirt under, as a dress with tights, yes.

I also found these shoes, perfect leather and style but the heel isn't right. Too high too skinny for the kind of stomping I have in mind. But boy what a great pair.

& apparently not everything exists on the world wide web...shocker. I'm too tired of falling into the deep deep google pit of despair so it's point and shoot with my own two hands here and on.

Secret Nothing

I've seen pieces here and there from Sretsis' fall collection but never really GOT it till I stumbled upon their excellent site navigation.

Panda Riot

I wanted to be a Panda.
I made it with felt and string.
I think Panda is my true calling.

Also, so excited Panda Riot just finished their album - show them some panda love, and riot: myspace / pandariot.com
