As for the jpg show - vegan or not, I was completely grossed out.

Christ, the Ris Paul Ric album is so satisfying. Lately the most brilliant of musicians have been intensely shaking me from a flat-grind existence, as if I somehow forgot it was at all possible.

The collection felt weak in overall appeal beyond my certain obsession. The top look for me is the the strongest integration and I LOVED the letters on faces.
I'm also reminded of this shot of a No Age shirt I snapped some time ago.

The Versace trousers below (with a belt buckle that really makes them) remind me of an awkward pair from college with a similar sheen and what's more pleasant than rekindling love?

Emilio Pucci

As tasteful as that Dolce & Gabbana tweed is...the brand still leaves a pretty repulsive flavor lingering - rather difficult to see beyond fergie and market flooding knock-offs.
I kind of miss using the word CLOGS.

We are releasing a NEW ALBUM this year that will include our un-released songs. Perhaps a re-union show, too? Who knows."

I was rather creeped out by most of the recent London shows, but Gareth's jackets were just incredible in their construction. I couldn't decide if I liked the proportions at Armand Basi, for the most part so awkward esp on a normal body minus the two below.

And it was the sheer that made it really something.
Betty Jackson's sheer elements also deserved praise along with the neat collar detail.

Malo caught me off guard with an amazing plushiness, 3.1 shoes with my name all over them, Chris Benz coats to die for and more fantastic layers and prints by way of Brian Reyes and Rachel Comey.

8 days is oh so many to spend in NY, but I am back - happy to return to Los Angeles and refreshed. I'll be doing a Fashion Week wrap since I missed the darn thing but for now I'm doing some spring cleaning which is where I found this upsettingly cute photo of my old kitten.
So much talk about this idea of 'recession' - do you feel it? I know I do...def curving my spending which feels actually amaz.

Ann Demeulemeester mastered hip, easy black! Keeping it choppy and cinched is such a refreshing standout among roomy black jersey flooding the neighborhood. Tao also had some great blacks and fun things. As for the jpg show - vegan or not, I was completely grossed out.

You can imagine my gasp at being slapped with this show last night. Apparently it's not just ME.viktor & rolf

Seeing Other People
Loved the chunky knit bits from a.f. vandevorst. Besides that only a thing or two from each that started the Paris Fall08 collections caught my eye.A.F. Vandevorst

A Wrong Turn and Raindrops
I stopped by the Evan Hecox opening this weekend and I found these cars rather charming.

Let it linger...
Some lingering bits from Milan - D&G tweed and colorful Pucci jackets. The Versace trousers below (with a belt buckle that really makes them) remind me of an awkward pair from college with a similar sheen and what's more pleasant than rekindling love?

I Can't Wake Up
I have a soft spot for Marni and was rather intrigued by the use of so many soft colors for fall. I even was OK with typically impractical peep-toe boot...although they have nothing on those black platforms.I kind of miss using the word CLOGS.

Miss december senseless...
I've been hmm-ing and uhh-ing through the Milan shows thus far but there's some brilliant coats I just cannot ignore. Raf Simons blew my mind with Jil Sander candy for my inner tweed junky. And the the Burberry Fall collection could be the my favorite from them ever - who doesn't dream of those super deep shades during stormy months. Slap those breathtaking necklaces on top of and there's nothing to argue.Jil Sander

Eley didn't wow me in the ways I thought it would but a couple playful looks sat well with my other favorite starts to the London Fall 08 collections. Sweet full of shape and punch John Rocha and Sinha Stanic complete with equally endearing shoes.John Rocha
