NY lack of length of vision always leaves me craving the return of Los Angeles sprawl, but I think I could relax returning from the daily darkness to this:
Highlights -
The whole new Artecnica collection is brilliant, but the piece that I'm most eager for is Anemone - it has such character as a malleable, ceiling-table-floor lamp.

These also tyvek, huge overhead wonders from Molo were rather special as well.

The display of these flowers at Gaia & Gino were just beautiful.

And an amazing display of work at an off site instillation by India Mahdavi, drool.

The N is cut from a thick piece of foam and covered in re-purposed black canvas and the O was salvaged randomly a couple years back from a garage sale. Somehow, it all came together.

I hate caffeine so much.
"...Because adenosine, in part, serves to regulate blood pressure by causing vasodilation, the increased effects of adenosine due to caffeine withdrawal cause the blood vessels of the head to dilate, leading to an excess of blood in the head and causing a headache and nausea. Reduced catecholamine activity may cause feelings of fatigue and drowsiness. A reduction in serotonin levels when caffeine use is stopped can cause anxiety, irritability, inability to concentrate and diminished motivation to initiate or to complete daily tasks; in extreme cases it may cause mild depression. Together, these effects have come to be known as a "crash"."
Such a messed up drug!
I don't drink the stuff at all, except for a minor slip into Red Bull or Sparks which leaves me useless for the good portion of the week after. Withdrawal over, back to normal life.
Love?

Edamame. So refreshing.

Something that reminds me of you...
It feels like summer has just begun but the whiff of cold lately is enough to send me pondering fall. Shakuchachi has some wonderfully loose pieces that could bridge the gap.Shakuhachi
