Once it was finished I pouted that I myself have never had such a romantic encounter with my front lawn!

1. i remember good music but remember good videos even more. biggie hypnotize is forever ingrained in my brain. i miss B-I-G.
2. i should consider kicking the idea that adding alcohol to nearly any situation adds to the fun level

4. i am extremely true to my scorpio sign
5. i am so excited about travels in january...paris and nyc back to back
6. i didn't get my license till I was 21 - scared. Now I swerve in and out of traffic with glee.
7. i live for adventures. new spaces and faces.
8. im working on a zine that will be out early next year! it is the most inspiring and fufilling thing I have ever done.

Young Love

I spent all day looking through my boyfriend's family box of photographs from the 70s, reliving summer and youth via moderniteter and watching The Strange Case of Benjamin Button (very good).
Rather overwhelming amounts of nostalgia. From it all I realized I need to start shooting film again.
Tomorrow we're heading to Disneyland and I can't think of a better place to start.

Raindrops

Living in LA it feels quite pointless to invest in rainy, cold-weather items (sans an essential umbrella or two that make fun noises when they open) but when the chill sets in and you realize you don't even own a decent long sleeved t-shirt: pure crisis mode.

Being that my Wayne jacket is currently my favorite piece for really any given situation and the Spring 09 is this lovely, I'd have to say it's quickly becoming one of my favorite lines.
The fits are like second skin.

DUSKIN: New absolute treasure. The line (which launches this spring) AND the blog (which is not merely a dedication to collection updates, but a frequently updated gem of inspiration, photography and nostalgia.)

I am especially excited about the button down. Can never bring myself to wear the starchy sort and only have acquired one to date that has the sort of semi-sheer tenderness that before I've only dreamed of. I have a good feeling Duskin's will be dead on.









Designer Stephanie Tran gave me the niceeest blush-inducing compliment of "I love your blog to death" - gosh, it made my day!
