I'll be honest, sans one quote or so a year here I've never been up on the allure of THE INTERVIEW. But lately, blame it on the burst of inspiration or creative outlets and getting older perhaps, they've been so comforting. ghostpower follows positive messages of Erykah Badu and Diddy via twitter. jess started an interview series (which ill somehow be featured on shortly). I read an interview on Matt Sundin recently that plays over and over again in my head. Brilliant.
I still have my stock in a picture says a thousand words, but rest assured I have some reading on my to-do list.

Darling. Why don't I already have a suit with a big bow just for the hell of it? Just for cuteness? Although when it comes down to it any classic black, white, red or neon suit will do. I just don't swim that much and can't be bothered (I know, I Fail LA).
I'll leave that on the back burner with the black and white geometric print one-piece swimmers occupying my pool daydreams.

I Want The Quiet Moments Of A Party Girl

I often pop over to revisit the portfolios and new shots from those featured in Issue One and am continuously fascinated. It is a bit surreal to have exchanged words and creative energies with such talents as Matt Sundin (have you seen this video?!), Sarah Hermans (below), etc.







Publishing the zines is so terribly addicting. I'm so impatient. Everyone is so pleasant from start to finish. Seriously...I am just semi-nervously chugging along and hoping I can continue to do such a fantastic project! Chugchug.

I Know You Too Well

While in a mad heat-daze at Coachella this weekend, I shouted off a crazy turrets-like request to for a Creatures of Comfort 90% Off Sale. Somehow my wish just came true. So while I'm on a roll, two pairs of each of these please land on my doorstep to rescue my feet from too many days of flats on the polo field!

THE BILLY BAG

Just for fraction of a little while

It is so beautiful and warm in Los Angeles this weekend. It calls for more and more dreaming off to a life of no particular daily commitments and lots of wandering.

Issue One NOW SHIPPING

It's been a bit crazy since the zine arrived last week but it's so exciting to see it in person! Copies have already shipped from preorder (thanks to everyone for the support) and new orders ship out immediately.





I should also mention the 100% Recycled envelopes I'm using for packaging. They break my heart, a la memories of bagels in brown lunch bags.



Awws aside...reducing waste / the cutting of new trees is pretty important. The zine itself is printed on wood-free paper, so the fibers are all from alternative sources.
