While most years past may blur with the passing of time, 2009 will linger for the true ass kicking it served to all. Couldn't be happier to welcome in 2010. weeeeee!

Until recently this would have looked more like a receipt landfill. I give the credit to my Artecnica envelope wallet which keeps everything so organized. Honestly, the best. Sanrio bag (keeps my makeup) and DVS (hah) keychain are from highschool!! How this is possible I'm not sure but the Sanrio has my name in sharpie on the bottom so it's def legit.
Typically I will have a couple necklaces rolling about. This is my current fav it's from les morceaux.
Boots mosturizer, Dries aviators, Cold-eeze (works everytime), ChapStick.
I also always carry my camera!
But as is all too often the case, regret soon ensued! Tuesday I remembered that I honestly really need thigh-high stockings (the recession friendly alternative to my year long craving for thigh-high boots) and that Hansel from Basel (who may very well make the best thigh-highs available) offered a 25% off code for Friday and Monday. Making them a very accessible $22.50. Shit!
Though somehow as it turns out, their sale is still on! Imagine my delight?

Gonna go for the Dot support over-the-knee as shown below but in black.

Potted
I came home arms full of baby succulents last weekend and it brought some much needed life and cuteness in my space. Love!

All White Everythang
Spent all weekend painting my furniture white (to make my studio space seem much larger - & success!) so I'm on a bit of an all white kick. This is next level. Conceptually so inspiring too.

Bubble Bank
The spend vs make question has been swirling around my head this week. Working on commission puts me in a unique position where time is indeed money and I can use my time making more or spending it. The decision isn't easy! I want new, pretty things especially as I find my self in a sort of fashion identity crisis lately. Stephanie suggested instead saving and wouldn't you know it, the only way that seems fun is by spending more in order to save. Sighs. I'm completely obsessed with this hand-blown glass bank. So exquisite. I'd love to find an oversized version to place as a coffee or chest centerpiece.

On Friday we ventured out to the Art Center grad show (to see mikeill - set blew my mind - DJ for Media Design). Here are some highlights! Somehow it didn't occur to me that I should hop over to the other hall for photography, opps, next year.Daniaelle Simonsen, Kyle Capps, Lena Tramutola and others.

Hopeless
I locked myself indoors on Black Friday. Desperately focused on catching ups emails from the 4-day weekend on Cyber Monday. And with two pats on the back, rejoiced in avoiding the temptations of blowing my paycheck on all the brilliantly priced pretty, pretty things.
