Sexuality

Every time I listen to Sebastien Tellier I fall a bit more in love with summer. This photo of him is rather poetic, too.

A recent interview referenced his "...uniquely French ability to skirt the line between unbearably cool and unbelievably corny and emerge unscathed." Well put. Oh to be French!

Ah Fuck

Doesn't this photo have that expression written all over it? Slam that arm down. Speaking of which, there's a really beautiful track called "Fuck" you should listen to right here.

The Shape of Things

Digging the cover of this album.

Speaking of lines and shapes, The Dears Bandana is also kind of great. Their latest is at the top of my long long, too long, list of music to catch up on.

I know you're on to something...

It's a good week for music, with newness soon from dear dear The Dears and Of Montreal.

The Dears email this time around felt tragic but thankfully not as tragic as them breaking up - just tragic in everyone leaving the band minus 2. And really how can you go into Meltdown in A Major feeling anything but? And in a exact opposite but equally brilliant manner, within seconds of Of Montreal's Id Engager I just had to laugh a deep deep 'oh my lord' laugh. One of shock but not at all surprise. I am a little frightened of what's to come on that album be quite honest!
